Many people think that AI technology is for the young, AI technology has been taking the world by storm and finding homes in the lives of people around the globe.
Unfortunately, this reliance off of technology has not been easy for everyone. Namely, older adults tend to have a few more problems with using this. This age group has a much harder time using technology compared to younger generations for a multitude of reasons. Whether it is because of problems seeing the screen or just not understanding the process, this can prevent people from using all of these upcoming smart devices.
It doesn’t mean that they don’t want to use video chats or phone calls, just that it can be a little overwhelming to learn the controls. Luckily, an Israeli start-up company has been successful in raising funds specifically to help these people take advantage of their devices.
Their little assistant robot mimics the behaviors of people so making it so interacting with your smart devices can be as easy as interacting with a human being. The company has raised over 20 million dollars so far. Investors include some prominent names such as iRobot and Bloomberg Beta.
